Overview

A Millennia ago, an empire spanning the galaxy collapsed after a long and brutal war. In the Aldus solar system, two orphaned races slowly evolved on two separate planets. Both races believed that they were unique and alone in the universe.

They were soon to find out that they were neither unique nor alone.

O.R.B. is a visually stunning 3D real time strategy game that pits the forces of two races against each other in a desperate struggle across multiple systems to control the resources they need to expand their empires.

Story Overview

A Universe exists where the long forgotten struggles between ancient beings of indescribable power have left intergalactic scars across the great expanse of space. Amidst the destruction, two lonely survivors cling to small globes in a remote, debris filled solar system called Aldus. Through the ages, these two races have evolved, slowly but steadily becoming distinct and uniquely powerful nations.

The Malus: an aggressive but intelligent society of interdependent clans who, when unified, have achieved great evolutionary deeds.

The Alyssians: a race of autonomous thinkers, tireless in their search for enlightenment and unwavering in the defence of what they hold dear.

In time the Alyssians would stretch out to search beyond their own world, having heard the spatial whispers of nearby Malus orbiting their common sun. Misconstrued transmissions between the two worlds have resulted in an interplanetary war steeped in cultural disparity. The resulting charge to seize the space between their planetary homes has resulted in the creation of off world resource bases throughout the solar system from which to launch their onslaught on one another. Who shall be the victor, and what menace lurks beyond the outer rings of Aldus.
