Trainz Community Express Archives
17th July 2002
This week's community express will be a little briefer then normal as I'm currently in something of a rush getting ready to fly out to the USA tomorrow for the annual NMRA show (FT Lauderdale).
I will report back with a show special report (together with a few pics of the event) after my return.
If you happen to be at the NMRA show in Ft Lauderdale (19th, 20th, 21st July) stop by and say hi to Tony, the community guys who are joining us and myself. The Trainz display is at booths 902 and 903.
Monday morning's Content Creators chat went well with a large turn-up and some very good questions were asked. If you missed the chat, you can take a look at the chat log here. On the topic of Content Creation and SP3, please keep an eye on the content creation area of the website over the course of the next few days. Some important documentation regarding the process for integrating custom content with Trainz V1.3 will be available very soon and should clarify many of the questions and concerns that are currently being raised on the forums.
Website in the Spotlight
This week's website is 3801's AustRail: Train-Sims Down-Under. If you've experienced the pleasures that the Robe River route (included with SP3) has to offer then you know that Bruce's layout creations are something special, and this is their home, it is definitely worth your while taking a look :)
Screenshot of the Week
For this week's screenshots I really cannot go past Prowler's latest efforts at introducing steam to the world of Trainz. Check out these beauties:
Great work Prowler!

Actually no changes to report from last week, as we have not been accepting new uploadz while the team are busy with introducing new features to support the integration of new content for Trainz V1.3.
The Trainz forum waffle of the week goes to "Has anybody seen the Crocodile Hunter?". A good effort axe1970; it probably deserved to be carded but then I guess there is a connection between Kroc and Crocodile ;)
